Scenic/Lanterna
- Live
Recordings
Act 2
The Split Single
Act
#1 was played on Scenics
home stage of the Western United States. Leaving vocal mics
at home, from July 23rd 1996-July 31st 1996
Scenic and Lanterna dragged heavy trailers behind their respective
vans to venues along the United States Pacific Coast.
Starting at Stinkweeds in Tempe, AZ, the bands beelined
for the salt air of San Diego, before heading North through
Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, Seattle, and a few
hosts in between.
Act #2 is taking place on neutral
territory. This split single was originally conceived as
a preview to the tour (someone thought of it a few days before
play commenced), but because of the quirks of independent
record making, it became a documentation of said tour. And
not even quite that. Somehow one of the Lanterna tracks was
recorded months after the event. But, you get the idea.
